Sulaiman Shado Schools was founded in 1996 by Alhaja Zinat Bola Afunku (Nee SHADO) in memory of her late father, Alhaji Sule Maito Shado (a renowned entrepreneur and religious philanthropist who passed in 1992). The school first opened its doors in a mosque at Papa Ajao, known as Alhaji Amusa Mosque, Alhaji Amusa Street, Papa Ajao, Mushin. The school's pioneer Headmistress was Hajia Keji Kafilat.
Relocation to Bayo Adisa Close
To accommodate a rapidly growing student body, the Nursery & Primary school relocated after three to four years to 1 Bayo Adisa Close off Adefuwa Street, Mushin, Lagos, offering larger classrooms and an improved environment.
The Birth of Sulaiman Shado College
